Eastern Therapies

Based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), these modalities generally focus on optimizing the proper flow of ki (life force) throughout our bodies.  Most of the time that we're experiencing some kind of discomfort, it's the result of, or directly connected to blocked ki within our meridians.  While the meridian system may appear fairly similar to our nervous system, they are not the same.  This system consists of pathways through which ki flows that connects to organs as well as our extremities.

The modalitites that are offered here may consist of a blend of Shiatsu, Thai, acupressure, and Tui Na.  All of these can be done with clothing and can be more physically demanding, especially when elements like manual assisted stretching come into play.
